How To Build PC (Computer)

Computer is an electronic thing that easy to build because it make by different devices such as System Unit, Monitor, Mouse, Speaker and Keyboard. System Unit is a very important device of computer because all processes need to across System Unit and output by monitor. You can build System Unit with step below:

Before Build

Take everything out of the box
Read the instruction of all devices before build
Put parts of device in different, don't make it confuse.

Motherboard and Cables

HDD, VGA, Power Supply, Sound Card, RAM, CD-ROM and Floppy Drive

Case

Make Case Ready for Motherboard

IO Shield come with Motherboard, so replace IO Shield in Case with IO Shield with come with Motherboard.

Place for IO Shield in Case
When you buy a new Case you will get some screws, some of them use for create space between Motherboard and Case, prevent electric across Motherboard to Case.

Spacer

Put screws on Case
After finish IO Shield and Spacer, you need to put Power Supply that will be stay on the top of the Case. In Power Supply have a fan that use to keep Power Supply cool, so you need to put it in outside of the Case.
Check IO Shiled, Spacer and Power Supply again to make sure it put correctly.

Put Motherboard in Case

Lie down your Case then put IO panel symmetry to IO Shield and put screwholes on Motherboard symmetry to screw that use to make Spacer.

Put Memory (RAM) in Motherboard

Before you put RAM on Motherboard you must be sure that Motherboard support to that RAM (such as DDR1 or DDR2) and choose RAM that have slot match to Motherboard.
Start to put RAM by open the tap » put RAM to slot » close tap.

Put Processor (CPU) in Motherboard

Please be careful when you put CPU because it is the most important part of Computer.
It depend on brand of CPU such as Intel Socket 478, Intel Socket T (LGA775), AMD K7 and so on. So you need to read instruction that come with CPU that you buy.
Put the Fan on the CPU to make CPU still stay cool. This Fan need electric from Motherboard see figure below for how to connect Fan with Motherboard.
Motherboard need electric from Power Supply so you need to connect Power Supply to Motherboard, and the place to connnect depend on Motherboard (please read instruction).

Put CD-Rom or DVD-Rom

First remove any panel from the front of the Case
Put CD-Rom or DVD-Rom into the Case and make it unmoving.
Connect IDE from CD-Rom to Motherboard
Connect electric from Power Supply to CD-Rom

Connect Power Supply

Put HDD

Put HDD in Case and connect it to Motherboard by (IDE or SATA)
Connect HDD with Power Supply

SATA Cable

Put VGA Card

Take panel behind Case to make way to VGA go outside
Put VGA on Motherboard on slot AGP or PCI depend on your VGA card.
