How To Set Up Internet Information Services (IIS) 6

Internet Information Services (IIS) is a Web Server software that develop by Microsoft. You need to setup IIS on computer that you want it have ability to hosting website that devlop with server page such as: ASP, ASP.NET, JSP, PHP and so on. For setup IIS please follow the steps below:

1. Click on Start menu » Control Panel » Add or Remove Programs » Add/Remove Windows Components
   
2. Choose Application Server » click on Details.. button » choose ASP.NET » Internet Information Service (IIS)
   
3. Then click OK button » OK button » Next button » Finish
   
4. When setup process for a while it will alert you to insert CD Windows XP.
   
5. Wait until setup finish
6. After setup finish you will get folder wwwroot in C:\inetpub
   
7. Now your computer become a Web Server
